Colorado Estate Planning & Probate Attorney

Few people can claim a background in the film industry, the military, and in the private practice of law. Attorney Michelle Glover can, and her somewhat unconventional path has shaped both her skill set and her world view, accruing to the benefit of her clients at Artisanal Law.

Michelle began her career in Los Angeles, working in the entertainment industry. After working in independent film for seven years, she joined Twentieth Century Fox and became the Vice President of Domestic Theatrical Finance and Administration. While Michelle was successful in her field, she found herself seeking the ability to work with people on an individual basis and to make a meaningful difference in their lives. That need propelled her, after a year spent traveling the world, to law school and ultimately to a tour of service as a U.S. Navy JAG officer.

Michelle's experience in finance, and her commitment to helping people, made estate planning and probate law a natural fit for her when she entered private legal practice. Her extensive background in finance and strategic financial planning enables her to advise business owners on planning for the future of their families and businesses. Her active duty military experience gave her insight into the particular planning and probate needs of military families, who may have assets spread across multiple states and countries.

As a proficient woodworker, Michelle appreciates the value of creating something one-of-a-kind with a specific person in mind. She applies the same approach to her legal work. Understanding that each family with whom she works has unique circumstances and needs, Michelle takes pride in hand-crafting estate plans designed to meet the goals of each family; hence the name of her practice, Artisanal Law. Michelle observes that while a "copy and paste" approach to creating legal documents may be expedient, taking the time to customize important documents like those involved in estate planning yields a better result, and greater peace of mind for clients.

When not working with clients in her practice, Michelle actively serves her community, including volunteering with Colorado Legal Services. She also leads informational seminars for consumers on estate planning, trusts, and estate administration. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys woodworking and spending time outdoors hiking, cycling, kayaking, and rowing.
